Ostrich Shell and Trade Bead Necklace
Ostriches are native to East Africa and Kenya. Being the largest bird on earth, it follows that their eggs are huge! People collect the eggs after they've hatched and make small beads from the shell. The shells can be slightly diffferent sizes and they have a beautiful, natural visual texture to them. They are very hard to find nowadays. Ostrich Shell beads are one of the interesting beads used in this unique necklace. The others are equally special: West-African trade beads, both ceramic and brass complete the mix.
Wear & Care
100% Leather
Care: Avoid getting the leather wet as much as possible. Though the products should hold up, moisture may cause the leather to stretch more than desired.
