Vintage Indigo Totes

These soft, stripey, all-cotton totes are as practical as they are good-looking. What’s more, each tote is one-of-a-kind. Re-purposed from vintage African indigo, these multi-purpose bags pack flat making them a great choice for looking smart while traveling.  They're perfect size for the beach or for shopping.  The bags feature soft leather straps and interior pockets. 

Creation of the fabric: each horizontal “stripe” is handloomed then the individual panels are sewn together by hand.  You'll see the beautiful stitching and many years of loving use and repair on each bag.  If there are stains, we will point them out and consider them part of the vintage appeal.    The raw-edge denim lining further adds to the bag's character and holds the weight you put in the bag, instead of the vintage fabric holding the weight.  So, load it up and enjoy!
